Who we are

This website, scoutyourstars.in, belongs to Scout Your Stars, the astrology and numerology practice of Sanidhya Tyagi. In this policy “we” and “us” mean Scout Your Stars. For anything about your personal data, write to scout.your.stars@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp at +91 78954 69988.

What we collect, and when

We only collect what you choose to give us, and what a website needs to work:

Contact forms (“Get In Touch” at the bottom of every page, and the Contact page): your name, mobile number and, on the Contact page, your email address.
The booking form (Book a Consultation): the consultation you choose; your name; your date, time and place of birth; for compatibility (kundli matching), your partner’s birth details; for name correction, the name you want analysed (which may be a child’s or a business’s); the areas of life you want guidance on and your question; your preferred language, date and time; your city; and, if you give it, your email address.
The free numerology calculator works entirely in your browser: the name and date of birth you enter there are not sent to us or stored anywhere.
WhatsApp. Each form opens WhatsApp with your details written out. What you send us there, and what you tell us during a consultation, is between you and us.
Payments for courses, workshops and some consultations are handled by Razorpay. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details; Razorpay tells us that a payment was made, by whom and for how much.
Visit statistics. With your permission, Google Analytics records how the site is used: pages visited, the kind of device and browser, an approximate location (city or country) and how you found us. It does not tell us who you are.
Advert measurement. With your permission, the Meta Pixel tells Meta (the owner of Facebook and Instagram) which pages of this site you visited, so that we can see how our Facebook and Instagram adverts perform and show them to people likely to be interested. Meta may connect this to your Facebook or Instagram account under its own privacy policy; it does not tell us who you are.
Technical logs. Our servers may keep short technical records, such as your IP address and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.

Why we use it

To reply to you and arrange your consultation, course or workshop.
To prepare your reading: a chart cannot be cast without your date, time and place of birth.
To keep a record of your enquiry, booking and payment.
To message you about your enquiry or booking. You can ask us to stop at any time.
To understand, from visit statistics, which pages help people, and to improve the site.
To measure and improve our adverts on Facebook and Instagram, if you allow it.
To keep the site and our records secure, and to meet our legal obligations.

We use your details only for these purposes, with your consent, which you give when you send a form or message us, and which you can withdraw at any time (see your rights). We never sell your personal data.

Who else handles it

We share your details only with the services that make this site and our work possible, and only as much as each needs:

Hostinger, which hosts our server, where the website and the details you send through its forms are kept.
Meta: WhatsApp, when you message us; and the Meta Pixel, for advert measurement, with your permission.
Razorpay, when you pay.
Google (Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager), for visit statistics, with your permission.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your details only as long as they are needed for the purpose you gave them for: while we are in touch about your enquiry, consultation or course, and afterwards for our records. You can ask us to delete them sooner, and we will, unless the law requires us to keep something (payment records, for example).

Your birth details and your consultations

Birth details, the questions you bring and what is discussed in a consultation are treated as confidential. Only Sanidhya Tyagi, and anyone who helps him prepare your reading, sees them.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:

ask what personal data we hold about you, and how it is used;
ask us to correct, complete or update it;
ask us to delete it;
withdraw your consent at any time (this does not undo what was done before);
name someone to exercise these rights for you if you are unable to;
complain to us, and, if you are not satisfied with our answer, to the Data Protection Board of India.

To do any of these, write to scout.your.stars@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp. We will reply as soon as we can, and within the time the law allows.

Children

Our services are meant for adults. When a reading or name concerns a child (a newborn’s name, for example), the child’s details must be given by a parent or guardian, who consents on the child’s behalf.

Cookies and similar storage

Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser (as “sys-consent”), so we do not ask again on every page.
The booking form keeps what you type in your browser tab while you fill it in, so a reload does not lose it. It is cleared when you close the tab.
Google Analytics cookies (named “_ga” and “_ga_…”, kept for up to two years) are set only if you accept. Until then, Google Analytics runs without cookies and receives only anonymous signals.
The Meta Pixel cookie (named “_fbp”, kept for up to three months) is set only if you accept. Until then, Meta’s script is not loaded at all.

If you decline later, we stop both and remove their cookies from this site.

Security

The site is served only over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to the details you send is limited to us. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect your data and would tell you, and the authorities, as the law requires if it were ever compromised.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and its date. Last updated: 29 September 2026.
